Savour & Scent of Provence: Lavender Gourmet Box

€32.90

I’m excited to introduce the very first themed gourmet box — the queen of Provence: Lavender! A real treat for your eyes, nose, and taste buds.

We all know its fragrance, but have you tasted it?

During my culinary research in the South, I couldn’t help but admire the care lavished on this iconic plant, Lavandula Angustifolia, grown in Provence. It's been a healer, a moneymaker, and an inspiration for medicine, domestic hygiene, beauty and gastronomy for centuries.

Inside this box, you’ll experience Fine Lavender in all its gourmet glory—lavender syrup, savoury hummus, sweet biscuits, olive oil caramel, lavender candy, and lavender calissons (another Provence specialty)—all gathered around a beautiful dried Fine Lavender bouquet from Provence (35-40 cm tall). And with mid-September here, the timing is perfect. Lavender blooms from late June to August, and after a few weeks of drying, these hand-picked bouquets are ready to bring a little southern warmth, lasting for months or even years if kept out of light and humidity.

I hope these southern treasures bring sweetness and a hint of summer’s glow to our cooler northern autumn days.

Bonne dégustation!
