About the artisans:
On the stunning Île d'Oléron, where the Atlantic breeze meets a long heritage of fishing and charcuterie, Conserverie Maison Marthe has carved out its place in French gourmet tradition. Based in Saint Pierre d'Oléron, Maison Marthe creates handcrafted land and sea preserves, merging local recipes with a refined touch to satisfy the most discerning palates.
Maison Marthe’s workshop, a stone's throw from La Cotinière’s lively port, is guided by a dedication to high-quality ingredients and homemade seasonings. Fish fillets are hand-crumpled, and charcuterie is crafted with generous meat portions while keeping salt and fat to a minimum. From April through September, visitors can savour these carefully crafted products in the garden of Villa Marthe, their adjoining restaurant, where the flavours of land and sea are celebrated in a beautiful, relaxed setting.
